Getting Help From DOR

The N.C. Department of Revenue has staff members who can help you sort out your state tax situation. Start by calling the Taxpayer Assistance and Collections Center at 1-877-252-3052.

They can help you with simple issues immediately over the phone. For more complicated issues, they can connect you with a representative from our Taxpayer Assistance group who can provide more in-depth assistance. If you need to visit one of our field offices, they can refer you:
